During 2022 Kunstmuseum Den Haag, Fondation Beyeler in Riehen and Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen, Düsseldorf have jointly organized an exhibition on Piet Mondrian. The exhibition catalog was printed by Hatje+Cantz.
Having learned a few months earlier about the exhibition and to make his studies available, Sciam sent this letter to the Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen. The same letter was sent to the Fondation Beyeler. No answer ever came from both museums.
The exhibition catalog contains texts that show some progress in the way Mr. Benno Tempel (director at Kunstmuseum Den Haag) and his colleagues in Riehen and Düsseldorf approach Mondrian’s oeuvre.
It was surprising to notice that such progress follows the suggestions Michael Sciam has unsuccessfully tried to convey to them since 2006.
It's a real pity that these gentlemen do not mention the source of "their findings.”
